병사들은 좁은 길에 몰려든 사람들을 물러나게 하였지만.
군중들은 더욱 더 몰려들고 있었습니다.
갈보리에서 죽음의 운명을 맞이할 한 남자를 보기 위함이었습니다.

And He wore a crown of thorns upon His head
And He bore with every step
The scorn of those who cried out for His death
그는 구타당하여 피 흘리고 있었고,
등에는 수많은 채찍 자욱이 선명하였습니다.
게다가 머리에는 가시 면류관을 쓰고 있었으며
그분은 고난의 발자국을 내딛으시며 참고 계셨습니다.
그분을 죽이라고 악쓰는 군중들의 멸시에 찬 조롱을........
